The Northern Universities Consortium Board of Directors is the consortium’s executive and legally responsible for:
- The financial operation of the Consortium in accordance with the Companies Act and Charities Act.
- Electing a Chair and appointing and supervising a professional secretariat (provided by a Consortium-member HEI under contract).
- Approving the schedule and agendas for board meetings, termly meetings and Annual General Meeting.
The constitution of the board is made up of institutional representatives (of which there shall be no less than five) who are elected by the general membership.
